another Best of Breed win!
5/17/08: Taryn has 8 puppies
by NFC/FC/AFC Shambo's Dark Shadow -- 2 white/orange males,
1 liver/white male, 2 orange/white females, 2 liver/white females,
1 tricolor female.
4/16/08: Taryn won
the Nebraska Brittany Championship (36 starters) for her second
American Field Championship title and 14th hour win!
3/23/08: I'm very pleased to have handled a third
dog to its 2008 National Amateur Championship qualification! FC/AFC
TJ's Prairie Blizzard and I have teamed up again this year,
won 1st in Amateur All Age at Greater St Louis in February
to complete his Amateur Field Championship, and won 1st in Amateur
All Age at Southern Kansas this weekend to qualify him for the
NAFC (joining Taryn & River)! Blizzard is owned and trained
by Ed Tillson.
3/13/08: "Lucky 13" on March 13, Taryn
earns her 13th hour stake placement, a big one -- Day Dog, Top
Qualifier, and Runner-Up Champion at the US Open Brittany
Championship!
2/29/08: Alar's Tequila Extra Gold "Lexie"
(daughter of Smokey &
Halley), has won multiple Derby placements this spring including
4th in the 30-minute Texas Open Derby Classic, and 1st in Open
Derby at West Texas Brittany Club, out of 16 starters to gain
her Derby points! Congratulations to owners Tom & Kristi Rathje
of Nebraska! Lexie is trained & handled in the field by Ed
Tillson.
2/23/08: River
won 1st in Amateur All Age at Bluebonnet Brittany Club, making
him a NEW FIELD CHAMPION and completing his qualification
for the 2008 National Amateur Championship!
2/6/08: Taryn
is on an hour stake roll, winning Runner-Up at the Region
8 Amateur All Age Championship at Northern Oklahoma Brittany Club,
her 12th hour stake placement, qualifying her for the 2008 National
Amateur Championship!
2/6/08:
Taryn earns her 11th hour stake
placement, 3rd out of 38 starters in Greater St Louis Brittany Club's
hour Open All Age stake.
1/20/08: Taryn
earns her 10th hour stake placement and first Runner-Up Championship
at the New Mexico Brittany Championship hosted by Sunland Brittany
Club
11/25/07: Taryn
repeats her 2005 National wins!! She won 1st in Field Trial Bitches
at the ABC National Specialty show for the third year in a row,
followed up by winning a Judge's Award of Merit for the second
time, and then placed 4th in the National Open All Age Championship
for the second time! She also wins the Christy's Feather Duster
"Best Bitch" award & the American Brittany Club
National Dual Award (again)!
11/24/07:
I am honored to have won the Best Woman Amateur Handler award
at the 2007 National Amateur Field Championship! Thanks to Ed
Tillson for allowing me to run FC TJ's Prairie Blizzard, who
was posted on the first day of the championship. Blizzard is trained
and owned by Ed, and I am working on completing his Amateur Field
Championship. Fair trade, since Ed did the same for me with Taryn!
11/10/07:
Alar's Tequila Extra Gold "Lexie" (daughter of
Smokey & Halley),
pictured at left, won BOS in Sweepstakes at the Indian Nations Brittany
Club specialty show on 10/26, 1st in Open Puppy at the Indian
Nations field trial on 10/28, 1st in Open Puppy at the Sooner
field trial on 11/2, and 1st in Open Puppy at Midwest Brittany
Club on 11/10 to finish up her first field trial season! Congratulations
to owners Tom & Kristi Rathje of Nebraska! Lexie is trained
& handled in the field by Ed
Tillson.
11/2/07: Alar's Steel Shadow
"Steel" (son of Dancer
& Halley), pictured at right, has been winning in Australia!
Today won Intermediate in Specialty Show at the Club L'Epagnuel
Championship Show, and on 10/21 was Best of Breed & Intermediate
in Group at the Whittlesee Kennel Club Championship Show! Congratulations
to his new owners, Marilyn Di Natale & Jennifer Sharrock of
Australia.
9/30/07: Runner
continued his winning ways two days later, placing 3rd in Amateur
All Age at the Iowa Brittany Club trial. This was only the second
time he's been handled by me -- pretty good for his being barely
3 years old!
9/28/07: A big day!! Taryn
won her 8th hour stake placement at the Dakota Prairie Championship
in Bonesteel, SD out of 60 starters. Runner
was 4th place in the same championship, earning his qualification
for the 2007 National Open All Age Championship. River's
sister Almaden's Grace Under Fire (Gracie)
finished her show championship by taking Winners Bitch & Best
of Winners for a 5 point major at the Iowa Brittany Club specialty
show the same night!
