Sundae was my pick puppy from a much anticipated breeding of our Dani to NAFC/GFC/GAFC Spanish Corral's Sonny Patch. Sundae is everything I hoped for from this breeding - beautiful, smart, full of personality, big running and independent in the field, stunning on point! She earned her Puppy points easily, but her Derby time was interrupted with an unplanned litter by Treasure States Toby Mac Daddy. Their 6 sons from this litter are now hunting and playing in 6 different states.

Sundae got to show a couple of times in 2021 and earned her first show point, then got back to business in the field getting steady to wing and shot in preparation for adult stakes. She returned to the show ring in the summer of 2022 to complete her show title, and is continuing in the field working towards her Dual Championship. Her first "planned" litter, was sired by GFC/DC Almaden's Under Lock And Key in August 2023, and five of those six will be competing in field and show in the future. Unfortunately when they were weaned, Sundae ate a foreign object and got an extremely bad case of mastitis while at the vet, forcing her to have two surgeries and missing out on her fall trial season, but we have high hopes for her in 2024!
