Tripp is the boy I kept from Taryn's first litter by NFC/FC/AFC Shambo's Dark Shadow. I intended to raise three and eventually place two of them, but now the girls are here to stay and Tripp has been doing his level best to win my heart too! He is an absolute sweetheart who's impossible not to love, and a bang-up bird dog to boot. He was the most consistent of the litter in juvenile field trial stakes, placing in nearly every Puppy & Derby stake he ran, no matter how many dogs he competed against.

After spending the fall of 2009 learning on wild birds in Idaho, hunting regularly with a friend and getting some good house time, Tripp was back to the field trial scene in 2010. He earned the Runner-Up spot at the ABC Western Gun Dog Futurity, and then placed in every trial following, culminating with back-to-back wins in Texas -- 1st in the ABC Central Gun Dog Futurity and 1st in Open Derby at West Texas to finish up his juvenile field points! He will be broke this summer and we look forward to his future competition as a big running, hard pointing, high class bird finding machine!
