Tiger was another one that was "unplanned for". After missing two planned litters in 2007, I had a bit of "puppy fever" and told Gordon I would raise a puppy for him out of this promising breeding by a Shadow son out of a TJ daughter, with a linebreeding on TJ. Well, little Tiger grew on me and made herself into a keeper!. She is my first roan Brittany, a 17-1/2 inch little fireball who showed a lot of early speed and independence. Tiger earned both Puppy and Derby field trial points at 14 months of age, a great natural bird dog who will make a snappy, attractive Gun Dog when she matures. She is spending this fall season hunting in Idaho and learning a bit about being a house dog. Tiger is expecting her first litter by our River in December 2009. Next spring she will continue on to structured field training and hopefully be ready to compete in Gun Dog stakes next fall.
