"Dottie" is a sister to River, who I co-own with Bud & Sherry. As granddad Rock's owner and "matchmaker" in the breeding of Shadow & Winnie, I was given charge of Dottie in the show ring in June 2004, and thereafter she has never gotten anything less than a blue ribbon. Shown sparingly between field trials, she finished easily, winning a 5-point specialty Best of Opposite Sex over a special along the way. She also gained two Best in Sweepstakes wins (one over the ABC Summer Specialty weekend) and was Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes at the National Specialty in 2004.
Dottie was started in the field by trainer John Kline.
She had multiple Puppy and Derby placements as well as her Puppy points,
with myself, breeder/owner Sherry Larsen, and John Kline handling. She
is a little rocket in the field with drive and intensity to spare, that
she also carries to the show ring where her beautiful, flowing side gait
always gets her a look. After John's retirement from trialing at the 2005
Nationals, Dottie went with Tommy Tracy on the trial circuit and got her
first All Age win in March 2006. She returned home in 2007, well on her
way to her Dual Championship but has had to take a break from competition
as she is being treated for Lyme disease. See her win record & littermates
