Named for the town of Bonesteel, South Dakota where this litter was born, Steel was destined for Australia to make a positive impact as a sire there. He grew up with me and finally went to Australian co-owners Marilyn Di Natale & Jennifer Sharrock in May, 2007 and is now heading towards his Australian show title. He has been a hit with his clean, flowing, far-reaching movement and happy personality and finished his Australian show title with ease in May 2008. Steel's first litter is just hitting the show ring in Australia, with his daughter Diva winning Baby in Breed at her first several shows.
Steel's first show at just 6 months of age resulted in a Best in Sweepstakes win at the Iowa Brittany Club specialty. He made a great field trial debut at 7 months of age, winning 2nd in Open Puppy at Ringneck Brittany Club, right back where he was born in Bonesteel, SD.
